About Fat Berry DSP
Fat Juicy Sounds.
Founded by audio engineer Rory Browne. Built with a team of DSP engineers.
Why we started
Why we started.
We started Fat Berry because plug-ins had become expensive, rented by the month and harder to use than they needed to be. So we built the opposite: original tools at fair prices, bought once and kept, with controls that make sense the moment you open them.
Rory trained at SAE Institute from the age of 17 and went on to work as an audio engineer in the studio. For the past three years Rory and our DSP engineers have been building the Fat Berry range.
Who makes these
Made by engineers, for real sessions.
“We build every Fat Berry plug-in around a job that kept coming up in real sessions: a harsh vocal, a bus that won't sit, a synth part that needs to feel played.”
Rory Browne, founder · SAE Institute from 17 · Recording-studio background
Rory sets the brief for every plug-in from the jobs that keep coming up in real sessions. Our DSP engineers build each one for Windows and Mac.
