What it does
- What it is
- A lo-fi multi-effect: noise, wobble, distortion, bit-crushing, reverb and tape in one chain.
- What it does
- Switch on the stages you want and set how much of each, then use Magnitude to push the whole chain harder or pull it back.
- What it sounds like
- Worn cassettes, warped records, crushed samplers and dusty tape. As subtle or as broken as you want.

How it works
Make a loop feel less polished
Begin with Magnetic on a drum or keyboard loop and compare its machine and speed settings. Add Wear or a restrained amount of transport movement only after choosing the base response. A muted transient can be useful; a blurred groove may not be.
Use Digital separately when reduced rate or bit depth is the desired texture. It is a different process from tape wear. Compare each stage on its own before deciding to combine them.
Turn a sustained part into a moving layer
On guitar or keys, try Wobble and set its slower and faster movement against long notes. Magnetic has its own transport instability, so enabling both can produce more pitch motion than either alone.
Use the processed sound as a separate host layer when the original tuning and attack should remain dependable. Raise Magnitude for a transition only after the individual stage balances work together.
Make space part of the degraded recording
Space sits before Magnetic. Try a short space on an accent, then let the magnetic stage colour the combined source and tail. Adjust early/tail balance and the frequency-dependent decay so the return has a deliberate place.
Noise and distortion also feed the later stages. Keep their contributions low until you hear the quiet gaps and complete decay. The final level and optional limiter remain separate decisions; disabling one texture stage does not bypass the whole chain.
