Time and Space questions
- Is this a reverb bundle?
- It includes reverbs, but it is broader than that. The pack covers delay, flanging, chorus, granular processing and a movement-led multi-effect. If you only need a reverb, buy Knee Verb or Big Knobs instead.
- What does thru-zero flanging mean?
- Tangerine Flange has three engines: Classic, Thru-Zero and Cluster. Thru-Zero crosses two opposed taps through an exact null, which is what gives the characteristic jet-sweep through the centre. The Pitch control tunes the comb to a note from A2 to A6, and up to eight voices stack further combs above it.
- Can Minerals be used on a whole mix?
- It can, but granular processing on a full mix will change the texture of everything at once. It is usually more useful on a group, a single instrument or a transition.
