Play a short pattern with kick, snare and the quieter notes that give it feel. Sweep Fidelity slowly and listen to the distance and relationship of the hits. More room can make the kit feel like one performance; a closer perspective can give a denser arrangement more definition.

The macro changes several aspects together. It is not a single reverb amount, bit-depth reduction or generic high-frequency cut. Choose its position before adjusting the rest of the mix around the kit.

Compare Decay on the same pattern and hear whether ring or room occupies the next rhythmic event. Shorter settings can help a busy groove, while a more open tail may suit a sparse phrase.

Tune changes the instrument's role without moving the MIDI notes. Make a small adjustment against the bass or harmonic backing and compare the complete kit, since changing drum pitch can alter the apparent relationship of its elements.

Use a deliberate Fidelity move for a verse, breakdown or transition while keeping the underlying groove related. The contrast can come from perspective and texture rather than introducing a second drum part.

Not every voice carries all seven perspectives; the instrument uses the material available to that voice and a separate degradation path where needed. Match Output Level and choose Input Gain for colour.
