Highlights

Why Synth Berry.

What it is
Our flagship synthesiser: virtual analogue and physical modelling in one instrument.
What it does
Pairs analogue-style oscillators with modelled strings, bodies and resonators, through two filters and a deep modulation system.
What it sounds like
Anything from fat analogue leads and warm pads to plucked, struck and bowed tones that sound physical.

Synth Berry combines oscillator synthesis, a physical resonator, dual filtering, envelopes, modulation and effects across 262 parameters.

For engineers

How it works.

Choose the role from the envelope

For a pluck or bass, begin with a short, clear amplitude shape and a restrained filter setting. For a pad, lengthen the attack and release deliberately so overlapping notes do not fill every gap.

Change oscillator balance and filter response only after that note shape fits the part. Unison and drift can change both texture and stereo occupancy, so compare a simpler voice before adding copies.

Let a resonant body contribute a second identity

Introduce Resonator Mix on a short melody or repeated note and compare the available model positions. Decay and Brightness determine whether the body answers the excitation briefly or becomes a sustained part of the sound.

Use velocity depth to make harder and softer notes behave differently where the patch needs expression. A resonator can also add overlapping energy, so hear a complete phrase and chord change rather than judging only one exciting note.

Make the sound respond to one deliberate gesture

Choose a controller or modulation route that changes the patch's role usefully, such as opening its filter with a phrase or increasing movement on a held chord. Keep the amount restrained enough that the original performance still carries.

Use the macros to develop that gesture and then judge the effects and output rack in the full arrangement.

Questions

Something else? Contact support

Is the physical resonator an external-audio effect?
It's part of the instrument: every note you play excites the resonator, which gives the patch its body. It doesn't process recorded audio.
Should every patch use unison?
Use it when you want width and thickness. For basses and tight leads, a single voice often sits better in the mix.
Do all four macros replace detailed editing?
They offer direct performance control. The underlying oscillator, resonator, envelope and modulation choices still define the patch.
What happens when the trial ends?
When the trial ends the plug-in stops processing audio until you buy it. Sessions still open, and buying needs no reinstall.
Can I get my money back?
Yes. On top of your statutory rights, there's a 14-day money-back guarantee. Read the refund policy
